HardwareID (Hardware Identifier) is a special string that forms based on computer hardware. Usually, it is a microprocessor, serial number, and hard drive model.

Using this number helps identify a computer even if the software is the same without changes (e.g,  the operating system is reinstalled). It is hard to change this number because it requires replacing a microprocessor or hard drive. That is why HardwareID filters are more convenient to make than network IP or MAC address filters as they are easy to change.

In MyChat, HardwareID is a special string that consists of microprocessor vendor info, its model (CPUID), manufacturer, and a serial number of a hard disk drive (HDD or SSD).
