By default, the message history in conferences are stored on your computer, in a local database.

What happens when you disable conference logs?

Sometimes you may need to disable message history saving on a user computer due to security measures.

If you disable logging for text conferences, the messages history won't be stored, and you won't be able to check what other users had been writing there before.

Even if you have an automatic synchronization for conference messages, you will receive some amount of messages after the connection, but they won't be written to a local database.
