Error #70085: network error (WINSOCK XXX) "XXX", IP: "XXX"

 

Error description

A network error occurred during the work and it deals with a specific connection. The error number is written to a log with its text description and a client's IP address that was disabled.

 

Problem solution

You should understand that network errors are not linked directly to MyChat Server. They are generated by an operating system based on certain events which are unknown to MyChat Server. Consider this fact when searching for reasons.

 

hmtoggle_plus1 WINSOCK ERROR 10054, "Connection reset by peer"

A client that has not been authorized yet disconnected on its initiative. It can be an emergency shut down when the program "crashed" by error. Perhaps, the traffic was intercepted by the firewall on the client side, and it's caused disconnection. Or it was not MyChat Client but some other application that connected to MyChat.
