If MyChat Server works as a system service

  1. Stop the service "MyChat Server" by using a system widget (launch C:\Program Files (x86)\MyChatServer\SystemService\service_stop.cmd with elevated privileges).
  2. Delete the service (launch C:\Program Files (x86)\MyChatServer\SystemService\service_uninstall.cmd with elevated privileges).
  3. Launch the uninstall process of MyChat Server by using a system widget "Add or remove programs".
  4. Confirm the uninstall process of the databases.
  5. Delete the folder C:\ProgramData\MyChat Server\ (there can be files, backup copies and more).


If you launch MyChat Server as a regular application

  1. Stop and shut down the application (Alt+X).
  2. Run the the uninstall process for MyChat Server by using a system  widget "Add and remove programs".
  3. Confirm the uninstall process of the databases.
  4. Delete the folder C:\ProgramData\MyChat Server\ (there can be files, backup copies and more).
