Error #0041: hotkey "XXX" is not registered - the combination is in use by another program

 

Error description

Global hotkeys combination can't be registered in the system because it is already taken by another program.

 

Problem solution

MyChat Client has two main global hotkeys combination: for calling the program window from a tray (Win+F12), and to make a screenshot for sending it to the chat (Win+F9).

 

You can use this keys combination in any program as they will be intercepted and sent for processing in MyChat. Hotkeys work in such a way that you can register them only once. If you get this error, in means that the same combination is used by another program, and MyChat Client unsuccessfully tries to register already busy combination.

 

You can reassign MyChat hotkeys in program settings or disable them.
