Error #0092: unable to connect as the specified domain user (invalid username, password or domain name)

 

Error description

The server denied MyChat Client or another WEB service login due to incorrect login/domain/password.

 

Problem solution

A user with such login and domain already exists on MyChat Server.

 

Reasons for login denial:

•MyChat Server connects over LDAP to a specified domain and checks if there is a user with such login and password. If your domain denies a login, then MyChat Server will return the error #0092. In this case, check if a user is blocked in your domain, the password changed, or he was deleted.

 

•To check if the user exists in a domain, MyChat must know the IP address or network name of a domain controller for checking login over LDAP protocol. Available domains are configured in the section "Settings", "Domains". Perhaps the connection over LDAP port (TCP 389 for a regular one or TCP 636 for an encrypted connection) is blocked by a firewall or anti-virus on your domain.
