Error #9998: wrong database version! Closing application

 

Error description

MyChat Client can't use a database from a newer version.

 

An error occurs, if you run the older version of MyChat but a user profile database is from your previous newer version.

 

For example, you have version 6.1. You decided to delete it without clearing a user profile and install version 5.24. The program will display this error as it does not know what to do with a database "from the future".

 

Problem solution

•Install the latest version.

•Delete a database from a user profile and install the required version.
