Error #0014: incorrect user password

 

Error description

You specified incorrect password when connecting to the server.

 

Problem solution

Frequent errors

•Wrong keyboard layout. For example, a password in English language "Mypass@1234" you write in Russian language "ЬнЗфыы@1234".

•CapsLock is on. All letters are written in upper case. Instead of "Mypass@1234" you get "MYPASS@1234".

 

If you forget the password

Use a password restoring in MyChat Client or ask your server administrator to set a new password for your account.

 

I forgot the password to Admin Panel and I am an administrator. What do I do?

You can use a special command line key for the server /zeroadmin. You can also enter the Admin Panel from MyChat Server GUI by pressing the button "Administration", or from any other MyChat Client using Ctrl+F10 (if the server rights allow so). In this case, you will be granted a one-time token that opens a browser with automatic login to Admin Panel for managing the server.
